Terms of Service

By accessing or using AIrth ("the Service"), operated by Apple&Pear ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service includes the website at getairth.com, the AIrth browser extension, the dashboard, and all related APIs and edge functions.

AIrth tracks the estimated environmental impact of your AI usage (carbon emissions, energy consumption, and water usage) across supported AI platforms. The Service allows you to fund verified climate projects through our partner Ecologi.

Impact estimates are based on published research and our open methodology. They are approximations, not exact measurements. See our Methodology page for details.

You may sign in using a magic link sent to your email or via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You may not share your account or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

The AIrth browser extension detects AI platform usage on supported sites. It collects only metadata — timestamps, platform identifiers, and estimated token counts. It does not read, store, or transmit your prompts, responses, or any conversation content.

The extension requires host permissions for supported AI platforms. You can disable tracking at any time via the extension options page.

AIrth offers Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Prices are listed in GBP and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

Paid plans include automatic carbon offset funding up to the plan's monthly limit. You may also purchase additional offset credits at any time as one-off payments.

Carbon offsets are purchased through Ecologi, a verified carbon offset provider. We do not guarantee specific environmental outcomes. We do not make "net-zero" or "carbon-neutral" claims on your behalf.

Offset transactions are non-refundable once processed through Ecologi.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or circumvent security measures
• Misrepresent your affiliation or impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

The Service, its design, code, and content are owned by Apple&Pear. You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your usage metadata as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@getairth.com.

Upon termination, your usage data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
